The course will be held in the waters of Clayoquot Sound and Gabriola Island. You get the best of both worlds on the east and west coasts of the Island. Clayoquot Sound offers a wide range of paddling experiences, ranging from the currents and navigation challenges of Tofino harbour, the protected waters of Meares Island, to ocean surf and rock gardens of the open coast. On Gabriola Island you’ll paddle varying conditions from sheltered Descanso and Silva Bays, to the exposed waters in the Strait of Georgia and challenging currents in Gabriola Passage and False Narrows.

This course may occur in alternative locations, provided suitable water features and classifications can be utilized.
